Things to know before buying in California.

Is a tiny home a legal ADU in California?

Yes. California's statewide ADU legislation (SB 9, AB 68, AB 881) allows most single-family lots to add a manufactured ADU with minimum-lot, setback, and parking exemptions.

Do I need Title 25 certification?

For placement in California, yes. All our manufactured homes ship with HCD insignia where required. Park model RVs follow ANSI A119.5 standards.

What about coastal commission zones?

Coastal placement requires Coastal Commission review for lots within 1,000 ft of tidal waters. Lead times for coastal builds add 4–8 weeks. We handle the paperwork.

Are rebates available?

Some California counties offer ADU rebate programs (LA County, SF Bay Area) and the state runs ongoing pre-approved plan grant programs. Ask us about current eligibility.
